The bulletin board is provided as a community service to the residents of Ground Squirrel Hollow. The information posted on this page may be completely unrelated to the business of the CSD.
Who's using the water around here and how much is there?
This new web site contains water conservation recommendations for rural residences, links to the technical studies completed since 2003, updated water demand studies, a survey of groundwater use and more.
In February 2011, the County Board of Supervisors reviewed and adopted a Resource Capacity Study (RCS) for the groundwater basin. The Study concluded that the growing demand for groundwater was very close to and possibly had already reached the estimated groundwater supply in the basin. The Study also concluded that there has been a consistent and widespread lowering of groundwater levels throughout the basin. The Board has directed their staff to implement land use measures that will address the groundwater issues. This web page is the first step to engage groundwater users in a discussion of these measures and to start a rural water conservation program.

Is your internet service slow?
Test your speed at these sites: Test at different times of the day, service is much slower for most from around 5pm to 9pm.
If your service is through AT&T, you can call 866-557-1575 to complain if your service is not performing at the levels you are paying for.
If AT&T is not responsive, you can file a complaint online with the the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC).
